what do i mean by Coaching ecologies?

Babes, we are not simply one self.

We are multifaceted beings, each part of us having different concerns and desires and resources.

AND the ways in which we behave or frame our behaviours in different contexts emerges inevitably from what we've learned about what's psychologically or materially safe for us.

I’m Keri Jarvis. My coaching is informed by…

  • coach trainings (especially with Sas Petherick),

  • certificate in Inclusive Leadership Through Behavioural Science from London School of Economics & Political Sciences,

  • training with Nora Bateson as a Warm Data Host and Warm Data for Educators in the time of AI

  • 7 years of corporate senior management experience,

  • 13 years in business (I started out with this one),

  • BSc in Management (with Maths… but this part is less useful to either of us)

combined with…

…my intersectional feminism, community activism, chaos gardening, reading fiction- especially Octavia Butler and Ursula LeGuin, my Irish heritage & my separation from it, parenting, long covid, conversations with clients, my imagination, supervision, therapy, and more.

If you’re interested, you can read about why I’m letting my ICF Accreditation expire here.

“Finding where exactly the outside world ends and I begin—is not so easy.”

I’d love to name people whose work has deeply influenced the development of my thinking, and my approach. (Of course, this isn’t exhaustive, and doesn’t mean I agree with everything they say about everything).

my values

  • Keri doesn't shy away from the messiness of being a human (and a business owner), and will hold space for you to find your own answers in a way few coaches can. I trusted her when I was navigating a tricky ethical dilemma in my business, and there was no better woman for the job. She's wise, funny and a total joy to work with.

  • Keri Jarvis is the real deal. I’ve worked with her in a few one off sessions and the spaces have been perfection - full of care, compassion, insight, top level coaching skill… I came away from both feeling completely different and with a new level of clarity about some challenges I was facing. I can’t recommend her highly enough - she is brilliant at what she does.

  • The spaces Keri creates are like fertile little gardens of ideas, experiences and supportive reflections, developed on rich community soil where empathy abounds.

    Louise Thomason

    Designer and marketeer

  • Keri's groups are resourcing, inspiring, hopeful spaces in which I feel deeply accompanied while navigating growth and change.

  • Keri is phenomenal at holding the space and encouraging some conversations that really matter. Her ability to gently, but strongly keep the space safe and on task, whilst asking challenging and thought provoking questions and equally thought provoking and wonderfully curious reflections, has expanded my mind on countless occasions.
