Sorry to be insufferable but I’ve left Instagram & TikTok so I need to keep mentioning it. I am deeply concerned, like so many others, about the damage these platforms are doing to our cognitive and relational capacities. I also have tangential worries rage, dread and deep sadness about how our collective use of such platforms is funding billionaires who favour imperial violence and climate collapse.
You’ll find my free ‘content’ on The Portal- a Digital Learning Neighbourhood built by Sally Burns (a mother of 2 in Brighton, UK) and all who believe in it. The Portal is the antidote to the enshittification of the internet and the technofascism developing elsewhere.
